I was chosen in 2023 to be a Sustainable Travel Ambassador by the Travel Trade Gazette, based on my sustainable travel work within my business
Iberostar Group ‘Wave of Chage’ certified –
I graduated from Iberostar’s ‘Wave of Change’ Sustainability Summer School, receiving certification at the end of a programme of learning and examination.
Carbon Literacy Project –
I have Carbon Literacy certification following training and assessment.
I was chosen in 2023 to be a Sustainable Travel Ambassador for Kiwano, helping to change mindsets towards sustainable travel due to my activity on social media in highlighting the importance of sustainable travel, and my sustainable business practices. I have also completed Kiwano’s Sustainable Tourism Masterclass and have so far achieved Level 1 certification.
Green Tourism member – independent certification – Silver grading from Green Tourism based on my work towards sustainable tourism and my sustainable business practices.
The Sustainable Wedding Alliance member – I am a member of the Sustainable Wedding Alliance due to the sustainable wedding destinations and sustainable honeymoons I offer to my clients. I am awaiting accreditation.
Glasgow Declaration signatory – I have signed the Glasgow Declaration for Climate Action in Tourism
I was the winner of the Sustainability Champion Award at the Travel Weekly Agent Achievement Awards 2024.
Good Business Charter accredited – I am an accredited member of the Good Business Charter, for my fair and ethical business practices
CLIA Cruise Master 2023 – I hold the top level of certification with Cruise Lines International Association
